Marketing Specialist - Louisiana

Classification: Exempt Division: Louisiana
Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet company objectives. Drives new business sales by promoting company products to agents within assigned territory. Develops business plans, sales goals, training and support to agencies to achieve organizational objectives. Builds and maintains strong relationships with agencies in assigned territories to foster and build sales growth.
Job Responsibilities:
· Primary source of communication with the independent agency plant in the state.
· Works independently, servicing agents in Louisiana.
· This is a work from home position covering the entire State of Louisiana.
· Weekly agency visits and some overnight travel will be required.
· Promotes HomeWise service, products and underwriting rules, representing the company in a professional manner.
· Will develop business plans and marketing strategies to achieve new business sales goals.
· Increases new sales growth by communicating, educating and identifying opportunities for agent sales staff.
· Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
· Evaluate market conditions by performing market analysis to include competitor data at state and parish levels.
· May conduct product and system training for agencies.
· Other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
· A minimum of 5 years personal lines property experience, prior marketing and/or
agency experience preferred.
· Experienced in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
· Strong understanding of competitors, consumers, agents and the state’s market dynamics.
· Establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with all departments within HomeWise.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Louisiana general agents’ property and casualty license preferred.
· AA or college degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
